Success Funde: Podcast Creator Acquisition Strategy
Success Funde had never run a paid campaign before, and had no data to tell it what would work. The harder question underneath that: how do you get someone who distrusts ads to trust one, for an offer they've never been pitched before? A complete Meta Ads plan for a podcast guest-booking service: audience research, positioning, creative, and a full testing framework for that first campaign.
The business
Success Funde runs "Podcast With Ravi," offering paid guest slots on the show for business owners and professionals looking for third-party credibility and reusable content: a done-for-you alternative to building a content presence from scratch.
These figures describe the client's existing audience, not results of any campaign.
My contribution
Strategy
One campaign, one ad set, two ads: a ₹6,000 test budget kept in a single pool so Meta's delivery system could learn from all of it at once, rather than splitting thin across multiple ad sets. Targeting stayed broad and Advantage+ led rather than narrow interest-stacking, on the reasoning that feeding the algorithm several competing interest signals on a small budget slows down signal collection more than it helps.
The conversion path is an Instant Form (Higher Intent type), with a review screen before submission and the budget/intent question built directly into the form, so qualification happens at the point of submission rather than in a follow-up conversation.
Creative framework
Two contrasting angles were developed against the same offer, built to be tested against each other rather than assumed to work equally well.
Ad 1
"The Proof"
A rational, ROI-framed angle for analytical, skeptical prospects, built around the math of one high-ticket client covering the entire investment.
- Close one high-ticket client, and this pays for itself. Several times over.
- Stop paying for ads nobody trusts. Try this instead.
Ad 2
"The Mirror"
An emotional, identity-framed angle for prospects motivated by visibility and recognition, opening with an action rather than a question.
- Google your own name right now. If a client did that before your next meeting, what would they find?
- You've built something real. So why does nobody outside your network know your name?
Both are shot in a deliberately raw, native style rather than polished. The reasoning: lightly-produced video is currently outperforming high-gloss ads in feed. Both concepts are presented here as creative testing hypotheses, not proven winners.
Testing framework
The plan calls for reading cost per conversation only after the first few days settle, alongside a manually tracked qualification pass-rate. The actual number to report back isn't raw lead volume, it's how many of those leads passed the budget and intent filter built into the form.
